This role is part of the Community Engagement, Access and Learning (CEAL) team. The CEAL team works to address the gap between the ambition of the Fringe to be an inclusive and accessible festival for all and the reality of the multiple barriers that prevent participation.
The CEAL Assistant will work across the CEAL team with the Community Engagement Officer, Community Events Officer, Learning Officer and Access Projects Officer to provide administrative and practical support with a variety of projects
We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to the position of Community Events Officer, reporting to the Community Engagement, Access and Learning (CEAL) Manager. The successful candidate will plan, deliver, and evaluate community focused events and activities before and during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The primary responsibility of the Community Ticketing & Customer Service Assistant is to provide an exceptionally high standard of service to a wide range of customers of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. Under the guidance of the Community Ticketing and Customer Service Coordinator, the successful applicant will be responsible for answering general festival enquires as well as assisting customers from community groups, group bookings, and resolving a range of customer services issues.
